#2

As I was writing "#2" for our blog post title, I realized that it might lead you to believe we are announcing baby #2.  Nope.  NOT THE CASE.  Jack just had birthday #2!  We celebrated all weekend, with parties on Friday, Saturday and and Sunday.  SPOILED!  He said "Happy Birthday to Jack" all weekend and loved the constant cupcakes- when he woke up this morning he wanted a cupcake for breakfast.  Why wouldn't he?!

The weather here is too good to be true. It is so fun to be able to go to the park year round! I'm not trying to rub it in- we definitely pay for it in others ways. Housing prices, anyone?

Christmas!

Finally, after lots and lots of years of traveling for Christmas, we decided to stay home this year. Jeff's parents came from Missouri to be with us and we had a great time. The garbage man has been Jack's obsession since he was 10 months and when he saw his "garla man" under the tree it was love at first sight. Almost a month later, it is still the only toy he really plays with. He tells me every 5 seconds that the "garla man up trash."

Roar!

It was so fun to take Jack trick or treating this year. He loved walking around and was in heaven with all of the "teats" that people were handing out to him. I was a little worried that he was going to hate his costume and refuse to wear it, but luckily there wasn't a fight and he looked absolutely adorable! Where does the time go? I almost have a two year old!
